But we will tell you the recipe of Kadhi with pakora in which pakora are made from gram flour and mixed in gravy prepared from gram flour.

Ingredients to make an easy kadhi pakora recipe: To make gram flour kadhi, curd, red chili, salt, garam masala, and red chili. Ghee is required for asafoetida and tempering. After the kadhi is ready, gram flour pakodas are added to it. How to serve gram flour kadhi: Kadhi is served with rice. It looks very tasty to eat. If you want, you can make it for lunch or dinner anytime.

To make pakora:

You only need to prepare 4 ingredients to get started.

  • ½ tbsp grated ginger or paste
  • 1½ tbsp garlic grated or paste
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons chopped or chopped onions
  • 1 to 2 green chilies, seedless, chopped or crushed (adjust for heat)

Here are the ground and whole spices you need:

  • 1¼ teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1½ tsp coriander powder (or 1½ tbsp coarsely ground seeds)
  • 14 to 13 teaspoons turmeric (adjust according to color)
  • 14 to 13 spoons of garam masala
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds (methi seeds)
  • 1½ tsp cumin
  • 1 dry red chilli broken

  1. For this recipe, you will need 1 cup of homemade sour curd or ¼ cup of store-bought curd. Usually, homemade curd contains some amount of whey which is not present in store-bought curd, hence it makes a difference. You will also need ¼ cup gram flour/besan which weighs approximately 25 to 27 grams. Please sift the flour for easy mixing.
  2. Add flour to a mixing bowl. Add the curd in batches and mix to a smooth mixture with a whisk or fork.
  3. It should look like this and there should not be any lumps in it.
  4. To make homemade curd, add 3 cups of water (or 34 cups of water if using store-bought plain curd) and stir well.

Method to make Besan Kadhi

  1. Mix gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, salt and garam masala.
  2. Now make a smooth batter by mixing curd in it, and adding water to it.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add asafoetida, cumin, and whole red chili.
  4. Now add the mixture prepared by mixing gram flour and curd in this tempering and boil it.
  5. Cook it on low flame until it thickens a bit.
